*Keira's First Winter Photo Shoot...

Now that winter is approaching and we have our heat on... we have pulled out the winter clothes. With the high being 58 today and already freezing... I think it's going to be a loooong winter! We are such big babies and were spoiled in Phoenix! HA! As I was going through Keira's winter stuff I found the cute beanie that I bought her while I was pregnant. I had to put it on her and we couldn't stop laughing how cute she looked in her white puppy beanie.

*KEIRA IS 6 MONTHS OLD!

Where does the time go!?! We can't believe that Keira is 6 months old! Poor Little Lemon has had a cold the past few days and has not been feeling good. She's been such a good baby and is so happy and playful. We love her so much and couldn't imagine life without her. It's so fun seeing her in the morning when she wakes up because she gets so excited to see us. It's the best feeling to know that she loves her Mommy and Daddy!

*6 MONTH CHECK UP!

Keira had her 6 month check up yesterday. We were anxious to see how much she would weigh and were surprised that she only gained a little weight. At her 4 month check up she weighed 11.3 pounds and at 6 months she weighs 11.13 pounds. The doctor was a little concerned because Keira is not on the chart for weight anymore. However she did say Lemon is a healthy baby and seems so happy and active. We will be increasing her calorie intake with formula and start feeding her baby food 3 times a day now. Lemon grew an inch since her last visit and is now 24 3/4 inches long. We love our baby girl!

*Big Enough for the Highchair!

Keira has been eating baby food for a week now. She's doing much better than the first attempt and is getting the hang of it. We thought it was time to bring out the highchair. She loves sitting in it had a good time playing with the tray and kicking her feet.

We can't believe that she'll be 6 months on Sunday!

She is getting so BIG... even though she's still on the TINY side! I love this highchair and was so excited to finally use it. Brody teased me when I bought it because I was only a couple months pregnant at the time. He reminded me that our baby would not be using it right away. I just couldn't wait and thought it was so pretty. It was one of the first things I bought.

Daddy Helping Out with Dinner Time

~ STARTING RICE CEREAL ~

Keira is a big girl now and we just started rice cereal the other day. We have video of her eating it for the first time. She didn't like it very much and cried. I thought I would take some pictures of her second attempt with it.

Here is what Lemon thought...

~ Do I have to Mommy? I REALLY DON'T WANT TO!

~ I'm not very happy about this... you know how I feel about Rice Cereal!

~ Okay... Okay... I'll try one bite. But just one!

~ Not too bad... maybe I'll try another.

~ I don't know about this Mommy... I'm not feeling so good!

~ Okay... Okay... That's it! I'm done... Please no more!

~ BRODY'S IDEA OF ENTERTAINING KEIRA ~

The other night Brody went in the basement to workout. On his way down he told me that he would take Keira with him. I then told him to be sure to grab her jungle gym mat so she could play with it and have something to do. Minutes later I thought I would check on them downstairs and here is what I found...

This is Brody's contraption for entertaining Keira. I guess I can't complain... she actually enjoyed it and had a good time playing with a jumprope that was dangling from an ab roller.
