*4 Month Check up!

Keira had her 4 month check up yesterday and all is well. She is a huge 11 pounds which puts her in the 10th percentile for her weight. For her height she is 23 3/4 inches long which puts her in the 40th percentile. When she was born her weight was in the 10th percentile so as long as she maintains that... we are happy. Within the next couple of weeks we will try giving her rice cereal. Her thrush has improved and is close to being gone. The doctor couldn't believe how active and alert our little Lemon is. She is constantly moving and just two days ago she started rolling over. She kicks her legs up so high and to the side that it flops her over and I don't think she even realizes what she's doing. We'll have to get on video and post it soon. Keira did very well with her shots yesterday and only cried for a few seconds. Her legs are sore and it's been sad to hear her cry but this morning she is doing a little better. We can't believe how BIG our LITTLE Girl is getting! We love her so much and we are having so much fun being a Mommy and Daddy... there's nothing like it!

  1. I wouldn't worry about her weight either. As long as she is growing. Just think you arms are not as sore as mine carrying Emmett around at 17 lbs. haha. Emmett has only rolled over twice and it was an accident. Go Lemon! We had to switch Monkey to oatmeal cereal because the rice bound him up for days, so the doc said to go with oatmeal. It took him almost two weeks to get the hang of it, but he wanted to eat so we kept at it. I would recommend wearing a bib youself because it can be quite a mess. I can't wait to see the video. Do you have a video camera or do you use your photo camera? Give Keira a kiss for me.
