*URGENT CARE!

~ OUR POOR LITTLE LEMON ~

Keira has not been eating very well the past few days. If you've talked to me about her eating you would know that she's not always the best little eater. But the past few days have been HORRIBLE and she would always cry when I would nurse or give her a bottle. I thought at first she was just being a stinker and then was thinking that she had an upset tummy. The days just got worse where she wouldn't even try eating and the other day she only ate a couple ounces for the entire day. Well... yesterday before taking her in Brody noticed that she had a white tongue with spots. Yep... you guessed it... she has THRUSH! Poor Little Girl!!! We ended up having to take her to Urgent Care and they confirmed it was thrush. She is taking her medicine is doing much better already. Thank goodness! They weighed her at the appointment and she is a WHOPPING 11 POUNDS! LOL ~ I think she'll always be our Tiny One but maybe she'll gain a little more now that she's eating better. We were getting so worried about her and we are so glad we know what's going on and that it's treatable. What a relief!!! Next week we'll take her in for her 4 month check up and give you an update then.

Keira LOVES walking with her Mommy! I go walking every morning with a friend if the weather permits it. I'm glad she enjoys her stroller and that we can take advantage of the nice weather we are having. If we were still in AZ it'd be way too hot for walking!
